It's Time to Rediscover Confidence

Shaved Head Styles

Shaved Head Styles

Myth: all shaved heads are created equal. Fact: there are many different ways to rock a shaved head. The shaved head is not a one-size-fits-all hairstyle. Plenty of styles represent your personality, from an all-over buzzcut to a short, parted style.

People commonly refer to the shortest shaved head as the Induction Cut. Most new military recruits remove clipper guards for this look.

If you’re looking for just slightly more length, a Burr Cut uses the #1 or #2 setting for a more grown-out look.

The Butch Cut uses the #3 or #4 guard, leaving you with roughly ¼-inch of hair. You decide whether to taper it or not!

For more movement, choose a longer, side-fading Brush Cut.
You can achieve a classic side part look with the Crew Cut. The Crew Cut is slightly longer in the front than the brush cut.

Take away the sides and back of the crew cut, and you get the High and Tight, a shorter version of the fade haircut. Filling in the top hair adds definition to this classic style.

The most extended form of a buzzcut is affectionately known as the Ivy League cut. Also known as a Princeton cut, clippers with a #7 or #8 guard make it possible to add a notable part in this style.

If you are losing your hair in any way, whether your hairline is receding, you have bald patches, or your hair is totally gone, shaving your head is a great way to disguise the hair loss. Scalp micropigmentation is a state of the art procedure that can fill in any bald areas to give you the look of a shaved head, exactly the way you want it. Depending on which of the above styles you are interested in and the state of your natural hair, the experts at Hairline Ink can work with you to achieve a great shaved head style. We offer Scalp Micropigmentation in over 50 US cities. Call or text us today at 833-HAIR-INK (833-424-7465) to schedule an appointment, learn about our pricing, or get a free quote!
